Mareham-Le-Fen Community Centre was created to bring people together and help them feel like they belong.
Since we started, our main goal has been to provide a place where individuals and families can meet, have fun, learn new things, and support each other. We believe that by building a strong community, we can improve the overall well-being and happiness of the people who live here.
Our Community Centre is managed by our Trustees and supported by our Volunteers. We work tirelessly to organise events and classes that will benefit our community with a mix of different activities that are enjoyable and educational. We want to make sure there's something for everyone, so we're always open to ideas and suggestions from our community members.
At Mareham-Le-Fen Community Centre, we work hard to make sure everyone feels like they belong and that we are all connected. We do this by providing lots of different things for people to do, like activities, events, and services. It doesn't matter how old you are or what you're interested in, we have something for everyone.
So if you're a small club looking for a nice place to meet, or a company wanting to give a presentation to a serious audience, we can help you out.
Trustees play a crucial role in the context of charity, as they are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation. These dedicated individuals volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that the charity fulfils its mission of helping the community.
Trustees bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, making informed decisions that positively impact the charity's activities and beneficiaries. They work closely with staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure that resources are effectively utilised and that the charity operates in a transparent and accountable manner.
We're really proud of our Community Centre! We have amazing facilities including a fully functioning kitchen with servery, bar and spacious reception. Combined with our large hall and well proportioned Spitfire room, we think you'll be hard pressed to find anything similar locally.
Volunteers are the backbone of any charitable organisation. They selflessly offer their time, skills, and energy to make a positive impact on the lives of others. These dedicated individuals are the helping hand that supports the trustees in achieving their goals.
With their unwavering commitment, volunteers provide invaluable assistance in various aspects of charity work. They lend a helping hand in organising events, fundraising, and spreading awareness about the organisation's mission. Their support allows the trustees to focus on strategic planning and decision-making.
Volunteers bring a fresh perspective and diverse set of skills to the table. Their contributions not only lighten the workload but also bring new ideas and creativity to the charity. By collaborating with the trustees, volunteers help create a strong foundation for the organization, ensuring its continued success in making a difference in the lives of those in need.

We include our volunteers in a monthly meeting where they bring ideas to the table, to help and benefit our charity. These volunteers are hard-working and enthusiastic and without them, we wouldn't be able to put on so many events.
